Above Porto is the seaside resort of Póvoa de Varzim. The 1929 share is issued by a Portuguese tourist office. It shows the fascination with bathing culture as a modern leisure activity. During the "Roaring Twenties", many people are at the subsistence level. At the same time, there was an art and culture scene that cultivated an avant-garde lifestyle of intense expressiveness.
